The home of Fine Mead, Wine, and Cider
Our facility is currently under construction we recently began production and will open this year.
We have also planted our vineyard and orchard. The vineyard consists of Petite Pearl, Marquette, Frontenac, St. Pepin, Brianna, and La Crescent vines, while the orchard consists of mostly classic cider apples with some local favorites thrown in for fun like Wolf River and Cortland.
Local produce and honey will be used when possible.
2013 planting of grapes
The young vineyard in grow tubes consists of 50 each of Reds: Petite Pearl, Marquette, Frontenac, Whites: St. Pepin, Brianna, and La Crescent vines. All vines are cold hardy hybrids. Petite Pearl and Marquette are big reds with good structure and tannin. Frontenac is good for port or rose. St. Pepin is a fruity white, Brianna is a low acid white good for blending and La Crescent is a Muscat cross. We also added 82 apple trees this spring 18 different varieties for complex hard cider.
Stop by and check out the progress we have some Mead, Wine and Cider to sample.
